The company's GasCam engine development and Micro Engine development programmes will be transferred to the new facility, which has a sales and demonstration office and will be consolidating new product developments, license transfers, USA government grants and loans.
AVEC said the State of Virginia was chosen as the location for the facility for reasons such as competitive operating cost, quality work force, excellent education systems and several State-sponsored business incentives which include the Governor's Opportunity Fund, the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), and the Virginia Investment Partnership Act.
