Immunomedics receives phase II SBIR grant from National Institutes of Health (NIH) for F-18 labeled peptides

IMMU | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Immunomedics, Inc. has received a multiyear phase II small business innovation research (SBIR) grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the development of F-18 labeled peptides for pretargeted positron-emission tomography, or PET, imaging of pancreatic cancer.

Immunomedics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of monoclonal, antibody-based products for the targeted treatment of cancer, autoimmune and other serious diseases.

In addition, Immunomedics has also received an another two grants from the NIH. These three grants amount to $2.1 million payable by the NIH over a period of two years. One of the awards can be extended to three years with a potential $2.5 million additional funding, if certain goals and milestones are met.
