Ivan Dominguez and Oscar Bolanos said two men confronted them just after 4 a.m. in front of their apartment near the 1400 block of Northwest 13th Street in Boca Raton on Monday.
They say the men, whom they recognized from earlier at a Lake Worth restaurant, were armed with semi-automatic guns. Dominguez and Bolanos say the pair ordered them out of their car and one pretended to be a police officer.
The victims said the men took cash, a paycheck, keys and a cell phone. The robbers left in a white Chevrolet Malibu.
Police ask anyone with information to contact Detective Jeff Clare at 561-338-1246 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS (8477).
