Genesee swept the match, 25-15, 15-14, and 15-19.
Brooke Dahmen led the Bulldogs with 15 kills, while Tori Johnson added 9. Karli Bennett had 28 assists.
Genesee will face Troy on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in a game that will determine seeding for the state tournament.
Deary 3, Kendrick 1
LEWISTON -- Deary overcame a sluggish first game to knock of Kendrick 22-25, 25-11, 28-26, 25-14 in second-round action of the district tournament.
The Mustangs were led by Daniel Miller and Hannah Thompson, who each posted seven kills. Alina Rudiger had 17 assists and Haley Workman was 16-of-16 from line.
Deary faces Lapwai today at 6 p.m. in a must-win game. If the Mustangs win, they will play again on Thursday for a berth to the state playoffs.
