NOTICE TEXT: Department of Veterans Affairs VA Palo Alto Health Care System Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System RFP: VA-261-10-RP-0021 Due: November 20, 2009 Request for Proposal (RFP) - Preventative Maintenance and Repair of Intuitive Surgical Equipment. Contractor to provide all expertise, trained personnel, equipment and supplies as necessary to service this unit, located at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The NAICS code is 811219, size standard of $7.0 million applies. Product Service code of J065 applies. The actual solicitation with complete details should be posted on or about October 30, 2009. This will be a sole-source justified procurement as the proprietary rights to this equipment are held by Intuitive Surgical, Inc. of Sunnyvale, CA. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted.
