Flexon succeeds W Troy Roder, who takes over as chairman and CEO of Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd in Reading, England.
Executive VP and CFO of a wholesale power generation company NRG Energy Inc at present, Flexon has also been a member of the Foster Wheeler AG board of directors since 2006 and will continue until 16 November 2009.
With NRG since 2004 Flexon additionally served there as executive VP and COO. Earlier at Hercules Inc, he was VP of Corporate Development & Work Process, VP of Business Analysis and controller and before that held different financial management positions such as general auditor, franchise manager and controller with Atlantic Richfield Company from 1987 to June 2000. His career began with the former Coopers & Lybrand public accounting firm.
