Revenues for the quarter fell 21.5% year-over-year to $2.13 billion, coming out ahead of consensus estimates of $2.09 billion. Chairman, president and CEO John McGlade said, "Sequentially, we are seeing volume improvement in all our businesses, and our actions to move to a sustainable, low-cost structure have positioned us to capitalize on growth as our markets recover." For 2010, the company expects between 15% and 21% earnings growth on a continuing operations basis.
