US Airways Club members will have access to Star Alliance member airlines' lounges

LCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US Airways (NYSE:LCC) announced on Tuesday that it is introducing the
option for passengers to purchase a single US Airways Club membership
which will give them access to Star Alliance member airlines' lounges.

From 30 October 2009, US Airways customers will have access to over 250
airport clubs worldwide, including all US Airways Clubs, Continental
Airlines' Presidents Clubs, United's Red Carpet Clubs and Star Alliance
lounges, with a single standard membership/

Members will also be offering complimentary house selection of beer and
wine in all US Airways Clubs from 30 October.

Three membership options will be available to join the Club: annual
memberships, 90-day memberships and days passes. Annual Club
memberships cost between USD325 and USD450 depending on Dividend Miles
status, 90-day passes cost USD120 and day passes cost USD40.

Existing customers holding annual memberships will be converted to the
new membership plan and will receive new credentials by the end of the
year.
