The retailer hopes to create 500 new jobs at its stores in Hampshire, and in Southampton at the WestQuay and Hedge End, for Christmas. Also, it expects to employ approximately 3,500 extra staff in south east England.
Steve Rowe, director of retail at Marks & Spencer (M&S), said: "Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without your M&S. That's why we're looking for more friendly and enthusiastic employees to help our customers find exactly what they need."
