The Forbes magazine list of the 200 Best Small Companies is based on performance for one-year and five-year periods as measured by earnings growth, sales growth and return on equity. The last time that Badger Meter made the Forbes list was in 2008 and this is the sixth time that the company has been named.
Badger Meter is a manufacturer and marketer of products incorporating liquid flow measurement and control technologies, developed both internally and with other technology companies, as well as a provider of digital connectivity to AMR/AMI technologies. Its products are used to measure and control the flow of liquids in a variety of applications.
