The agreement covers around 400 AirTran Airways mechanics and inspectors based in Atlanta, Orlando, Baltimore/Washington, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale and Milwaukee.
Features of the new agreement include improved wages, benefits and working conditions. The agreement became effective as of 1 October 2009, the amendable date of the previous four-year agreement.
