The Birmingham, Ala.-based banking company said it will shut branches at 3644 Brainerd Road in Chattanooga and 1877 Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe.
The operations of the branch at 3644 Brainerd Road will be consolidated with the Regions branch at 5515 Brainerd Road. The one being shut on Battlefield Parkway will be consolidated with another one at 832 Battlefield Parkway.
The two branches are among 121 being consolidated by Regions in its system that includes more than 1,900 branches. A company official said the closings are expected to save about $20 million.
