The Nelsonville-based footwear and apparel company had $66.6 million in sales during the third quarter, down from $72.5 million in the same quarter last year. Profit was $2.8 million, up from $2.4 million last year.
"Our recent results reflect the steps we have taken over the last 18 months to reduce expenses and improve efficiency in order to enhance our profitability and strengthen our balance sheet," said Mike Brooks, chairman and CEO, in a statement.
Earnings were released after the market closed. Company shares were up 13 percent in after-hours trading.
