Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (M&I), a US-based financial services company, has priced a public offering of 136 million shares of its common stock at a price of $5.75 per share for total gross proceeds of $782 million.
M&I has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 20.4 million shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to close on October 27, 2009.
