Earnings per share for the third quarter of 2009 decreased 41.7% to $0.14 from $0.24 for the third quarter of 2008.
For the third quarter of 2009, total revenue increased 5% to $289.55 million from $275.71 million for the comparable quarter of 2008.
For the first nine-month period ended September 30, 2009, net income was $67.64 million, compared to $101.25 million for the first nine-month period ended September 30, 2008, a decrease of 33.2%.
Earnings per share for the first nine months of 2009 were $0.39, down 51.9%, compared to $0.81 for the prior-year period.
For the first nine months of 2009, total revenue was $846.07 million, compared to $820.02 million for the first nine months of 2008, an increase of 3.2%.
