'Virgin signs behavioural targeting deal with AudienceScience'
VMED | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Virgin Media has signed a contract with behavioural targeting
specialist AudienceScience to collect data on visitors to its website
and deliver targeted ads to groups interested in similar subjects. A
Virgin spokesperson told New Media Age (NMA) that the agreement would
allow Virgin to explore and develop its audience segmentation
capabilities on the virginmedia.com site. Data from Nielsen shows that
virginmedia.com registered 6.5 million unique visitors in September.
