VisionChina won a three-year exclusive contract in Hangzhou, announced the acquisition of DMG at a price of USD 160 million, won the advertisement dealership of mobile TV in Xiamen, and established partnerships with three public transportation companies in Guangzhou.
VisionChina's mobile TV advertising network has covered more than 30 major cities and a population of nearly 400 million in the country.
The company currently snatches an about 50% share of the Chinese mobile TV advertising market and will be likely to increase its market share by 10 to 15 percentage points in 2010, according to statistics by technology, media and telecom (TMT) market researcher Analysys International.
VisionChina is to unveil its third-quarter financial results on October 30, 2009. Its adverting revenues arrived at USD 58.07 million in the first half of 2009, jumping 73.9% year on year.
