Bayer Corporation's CEO Babe Named Employer of the Year

ESM Association recognized Bayer Corporation in front of employee services providers, work/life professionals and human resource managers from around the country on Monday, Oct. 19, during its "Awards Night--A Night to Remember" event in St. Louis. The Awards presentation took place during ESM Association's Employee Morale Conference held October 16-19, 2009.

"On behalf of our more than 15,000 U.S. employees, I want to thank ESM for the Employer of the Year designation. This honor validates the effort Bayer and its employees put forward to become an 'employer of choice,'" said Babe.

ESM Association, a national nonprofit for employee services providers, evaluated its members' top employers and made its selection based on several criteria including the depth and breath of Bayer's program offerings in the areas of work/life, diversity, fitness and wellness, recognition, discounts and other human resources practices and programs and importantly, the commitment of the company's leadership in the value of these programs in attracting and retaining top talent.
