As people walk past the site under renovation and see the sign, some are wondering, "It is really a salsa store?"
Yes, Kushner confirms, it's a store to carry 400 different hot sauces made all over the world and everything else "chili heads" would ever buy.
It's F'n Hot will carry cocktail mixers you can't find in grocery stores, gourmet snacks, coffee, Tee-shirts from famous sauce companies and hopefully beer from Wasatch Brewery.
The main feature will be a tasting bar allowing visitors to try any of the 400 varieties, if they dare.
The idea came from her family's trips to beach towns that had similar stores. At first they went into them out of curiosity, but eventually she noticed they always bought something.
Main Street needs something new and fresh, she said. Her store, and the experience it will offer, will be in sharp contrast to all the souvenir shops, real estate offices and galleries that occupy the street.
The plan is to open in early to mid-November.
