According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China's auto sales hit a new monthly high of 1.33 million units in September, up 77.88 percent from a year earlier.
The combined sales of the top 10 automakers reached 1.13 million units, taking up 85 percent of China's total.
During the first nine months, the country's auto sales went up 34.24 percent from the previous year's same period to 9.66 million units.
The combined sales of the top 10 enterprises amounted to 8.21 million units during the nine months, accounting for 85 percent of China's total.
