"Nokia Siemens Network's 40G DWDM solution hiT 7300 is equipped with Mintera's MI 4000XM DWDM line module. It is a component enabling simple upgrading of high capacity DWDM systems to 40 Gbps line speed. The competence of Mintera shows in engineering and understanding our needs," said Uwe Fischer, Head of Nokia Siemens Networks' DWDM business line.
"Mintera greatly values the opportunity of working with Nokia Siemens Networks as a lead customer," said Mintera President and CEO, Terry Unter. "The commercial deployment of our combined products demonstrates the strength of performance and quality of Mintera's MI 4000XM."
The Adaptive-DPSK technology incorporated in the MI 4000XM DWDM module enables 40 Gbps transport on 50GHz channel-spaced systems and transmission over agile ROADM networks without compromising ULH reach. The module has a 300-pin MSA connector with support for the appropriate I2C commands, thus enabling hardware and software integration.
