Zach Nelson, chief executive officer of NetSuite, said they would be doubling its workforce in the country to 600. "Manila's strong, business-friendly infrastructure has been tremendous asset to NetSuite, along with a top-notch educational system and well-spoken, service-driven employees," he said. "[Besides] doubling the physical size of the building, we will also be employing additional 300 more people," the NetSuite official added. The official said its Manila office has helped NetSuite establish itself among some of the local leading companies, with household-name customers, such as Jollibee Foods Corp., ABS-CBN, Diamond Fleet Management System and MOTECH Automotive Education Center Inc. "NetSuite makes it easier to evaluate and enhance our products, and to create new bundles of services for different customers," said Genemar Simpao, chief information officer of ABS-CBN Global. ABS-CBN Global is the international content distribution subsidiary of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. "NetSuite provides the functionality and flexibility we needed, and a single version of the truth, with a reduced initial cost outlay," Simpao added. For his part, Quincy Buenaflor, vice president for operations for Diamond Fleet Management System said NetSuite "has consistently improved our awareness of every aspect of the company and thus improving decision-making, which is why we are committed to expanding it to all of our operating divisions." At the same time, NetSuite also introduced its new localized product, NetSuite Version 2009.2. The new offering is designed to meet the requirements of the Bureau of Internal Revenue with key tax compliance, reporting and data export requirements. The Bureau of Internal Revenue has endorsed the localized product by awarding certification for NetSuite to use the product itself for its local operations in Manila.
