NOTICE TEXT: Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command NAVAIR HQ The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Multi-Year Production Contract N00019-07-C-0001 with the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office on an other than full and open competitive basis to address functional obsolescence issues. This effort includes supportability documentation required to implement the Night Vision Goggle/Heads-Up Display Signal Data Converter (NVG/HUD SDC) version 1.20 software into the NVG/HUD SDC System. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the engineering data, technical skills and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, and maintenance and support characteristics of the aircraft.
