RALEIGH, N.C., Oct 26, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- PRAI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Most Successful Early Phase Trial -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, is pleased to announce that a study it has been conducting for one of its customers was awarded the "Most Successful Early Phase Trial" at the 2009 Good Clinical Practice Journal's (GCPj) Clinical Research Excellence Awards in London. The GCPj Awards recognize and reward corporate and individual excellence in clinical research, involving partnerships between sponsors, CROs and investigators. The study selected to win the award this year is one that PRA conducted as a Phase I study of a novel anti-thrombotic drug for Belgian biopharmaceutical company Ablynx.
