Johnson & Johnson names new board member
XRX | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Johnson & Johnson, a US-based healthcare company, has appointed Anne Mulcahy, chairman of Xerox, to its board of directors.
Ms Mulcahy was both chairman and CEO of Xerox until July 2009 when she retired as CEO after eight years in the position.
Prior to serving as CEO, Ms Mulcahy was president and COO of Xerox. Ms Mulcahy has also served as president of Xerox's general markets operations. Ms Mulcahy is a board director of the Target Corporation, Citigroup and The Washington Post.
William Weldon, chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson, said: "Anne is one of our nation's most accomplished business leaders. She adds an extraordinary breadth of business expertise and experience to our board. We look forward to her insights and counsel, and are delighted to welcome her to the board."
