Announcement (September 21, 2009):
Allegheny Technologies is planning to acquire the assets of Crucible Research.
As part of the transaction, Allegheny Technologies will also acquire the assets of Crucible Compaction Metals. The total purchase consideration for both the transactions is $40.95 million. The transaction is expected to close by October 31, 2009.
