Among the most negotiated shares were biofuels company Brasil Ecodiesel (ECOD3.BR) with BRL6.5 million, mining mammoth Vale SA (VALE) with BRL3.95 million, and oil giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PBR), or Petrobras, with BRL3.86 million.
Brazil stocks earlier closed 0.04% higher at 65,086 points. Volume was average at just BRL5.45 billion.
