Bulls quarterback Jalen Holt had a big night for South Stanly (6-3, 3-2 YVC), completing 8-of-13 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. The South sophomore also rushed five times for 68 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Jevonte Gramling had 90 yards on just five carries with two TD's, while Devonte Hamilton, a freshman who was called up from the JVaEUR^squad, had 57 yards on six carries with two touchdowns as well.
Two long pass plays by the Mustangs (0-9, 0-5 YVC) accounted for their points in the game.
South dominated the team yardage numbers, with 324 rushing yards and 173 through the air for a total of 497 yards of offense.
North Moore managed just 50 yards on the ground but did pass for 128 yards, with most of that coming on touchdown throws of 46 and 35 yards.
"I thought that we approached the game well tonight. We worked on some different things defensively and were able to get a lot people touches," South head coach Luke Little said.
When asked about his team's overall status going into the final two weeks, Little said "we are getting better each week, especially offensively. Teams as athletic as us will still give us problems. If [Devonte Hamilton] can give us good minutes, that will help.
South Stanly hosts South Davidson on Friday night at 7:30.
