Under the agreement, the companies said Arrow's OEM Computing Solutions group will provide engineering, integration, and logistics services, and Seiko Instruments will offer its kiosk printers, mobile printers, and thermal printer mechanisms.
"Arrow offers very high caliber outsourcing capabilities and a robust lineup of complementary technologies," said Kaz Onishi, vice president and general manager, Seiko Instruments USA. "Seiko Instruments brings a globally recognized brand with a reputation for precision engineering," said Brian Armstrong, vice president and general manager, for Arrow's OCS group. "Their printer lineup provides the right complement for our world-class value-added services. This is a strong partnership between two industry leaders."
As a member of The Seiko Group, Seiko Instruments manufactures and markets electronic components, thermal and specialty printers, consumer electronics, communication and network technology, scientific instrumentation, and precision manufacturing technology.
