Operating revenue stepped down 7.79% year on year to CNY 36.459 billion, and earnings per share (EPS) stood at CNY 0.32, citing its financial report.
From July to September, the company, as one of the Big Three air carriers in China, gained operating revenue of CNY 14.054 billion, climbing up 1.31% from a year earlier. Operating revenue fell 15.32% to CNY 11.283 billion. Net profit, excluding the equities of minority shareholders, hit CNY 885 million, compared with the loss of about CNY 2.0 billion in the third quarter of last year.
Because of the global oil markup, net revenue for fair value in financial derivatives reached CNY 2.075 billion, including CNY 2.015 billion from changes on fair value of fuel hedging.
