The company, through its Indian arm Hino Motors Sales India, plans to sell 700 to 800 vehicles by March 2010 and plans to double that number in 2011.
To support the growth, the company plans to add three more dealers in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Chandigarh in addition to its existing four dealers.
The company plans to launch the FM Range for 6X4 applications, FL Range for 6X2 applications, 8X4 tippers, tractors and trailers from its 500 Series.
Hino will import the cabin and chassis for these vehicles in a semi-knocked down form from its Thailand plant and assemble them at its Bhiwandi facility, near Mumbai.
