The company's production volume in Japan decreased 42.2% to 49,845 units in September 2009, with a 48.5% decrease in passenger car output and a 32.8% increase in commercial vehicle output. Overseas production volume increased 0.3% to 37,410 units in September 2009.
The company's vehicle sales in September 2009 in Japan totaled 18,813 units, an increase of 3.4% over September 2008. Total exports from Japan decreased 43% to 29,490 units in September 2009, compared to the same period of 2008.
