For the year-to-date period, the company's global vehicle production decreased 35.8% to 680,578 units, compared to the same period of 2008.
In September 2009, the company's production in Japan decreased 22.5% to 81,154 units, and production outside of Japan increased 8.3% to 26,178 units, compared to the same period of 2008.
The domestic sales volume for September 2009 decreased 2.4% over September 2008 to 25,962 units. Exports in September 2009 decreased 31.2% to 62,256 units, compared to the same period of 2008.
