Electra 8000 is a one rack-unit, multi-channel and multi-format system that provides a cost-effective solution for Blue Ridge's rollout of additional HD content over its existing MPEG-2 cable infrastructure. The multi-channel platform uses 40% less power per channel than equivalent industry averages, Harmonic claims.
Blue Ridge is a full service communications provider in central and eastern Pennsylvania and a subsidiary of Pencor Services Inc.
