For the third quarter of 2009, total revenues were E191.29 million, compared to E240.18 million in the same quarter of 2008.
For the first nine months of 2009, total revenues were E486.29 million, compared to E542.79 million in the same quarter of 2008. Net income was E13.75 million, or E0.08 per diluted share, compared to E116.61 million, or E0.78 per diluted share, in the same quarter of 2008.
Harold Goddijn, CEO of TomTom, said: "We delivered strong profitability and cash flow in the third quarter as a result of our continued focus on cost and cash management. At the same time we are broadening our revenue base. In the past twelve months we were able to increase the contribution of non PND revenue from 20 percent to 30% of group revenue."
