Harris awarded USD196.5m IT services contract by Department of State Consular Affairs

Under the five-year, USD196.5m contract, with a base year plus four one-year options which will extend through 2013, Harris will help the Department of State in delivering critical services to US citizens domestically and overseas, and facilitate foreign visitors travelling to the United States.

Harris will support the Department of State's Information Technology (IT) by providing installation, training, help desk and information technology services in support of 270 domestic and international consular operations.

This contract also includes work from Harris Corporation's Department of State, Consular System Support - Bureau of Consular Affairs agreement as well as work from other contracts including Department of State Passport Support.

Members of the Harris team include Stanley Associates Inc.; Apptis Inc.; Mantech International Corporation; System Sciences Corporation International; Worldwide Information Network Systems Inc.; Access Systems Inc.; Acuity Inc.; Array Information Technology Inc.; Electronic Consulting Services Inc.; Navigation Arts LLC; Primescape Solutions Inc.; and TJ Westlake LLC.
