On 4 November, PRA's Christian Tucat, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Europe participates in a session entitled Emerging markets: Where next? In this session, Edward C. Ian, Senior Director of Clinical Operations, Asia-Pacific will share his expertise in conducting studies in emerging regions. Mr. Ian will also discuss the industry's move to emerging regions. The main focus of his presentation will be on the evolved Asia region; however, he will provide an overview of other emerging markets (i.e., Latin America, Africa and the Middle East). Drawing on his current experiences, he will discuss the regional benefits and challenges and offer practical advice on taking a systematic approach to country selection and site identification. Mr. Ian has more than 14 years experience in clinical research.
