Andre is sponsoring a Halloween candy buyback tomorrow through Friday at his office in the Louisa Town Center. He's paying $1 a pound. It's the first time Andre, who also has an office in Glen Allen, has tried the unusual campaign to cut back on cavities. "I had somebody say they're going to bring $300 in candy, but I don't think I'll get that much," he said. Children can bring the candy any day next week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The dentist also is giving away two free computers to children who do something good in their community. Through mid-January, Andre is holding a "Do a Good Deed Contest." Children 18 and younger can write detailed essays about the good deeds they have done.
