For the third quarter of 2009, group operating income was RMB78.83 billion, compared to RMB76.97 billion for the corresponding quarter of 2008. Group operating profit was RMB7.41 billion, compared to RMB2.59 billion for the same quarter of 2008.
For the first nine months ended September 30, 2009, net profit attributable to shareholders of the company was RMB19.87 billion, or RMB0.70 per diluted share, compared to RMB13.11 billion, or RMB0.46 per diluted share, for the same period of 2008.
Group operating income for the first nine months of 2009 was RMB287.23 billion, compared to RMB284.94 billion for the same period of 2008. Group operating profit was RMB25.23 billion, compared to RMB12.8 billion for the same period of 2008.
