Presbyterian Healthcare Services has been awarded an Excellence Award in the Perfect Slice category for its departmental scorecarding. The winning solution Presbyterian Healthcare implemented aided its Pharmacy department in converting from static, manual scorecarding production to applying BIRT Performance Scorecard to make the Pharmacy Services department a best-practice leader in enhancing transparency of performance data and increased accountability for measured performance.

"Based on the easy-to-use interface, product features, and simple application management in BIRT Performance Scorecard, Presbyterian Health Services Pharmacy Department has a more direct measure owner impact over performance, improving accountability and responsiveness, thereby allowing an increased level of data-driven decision making."
The company said the BIRT Performance Scorecard solution implemented by Presbyterian Health Services is different because it allowed the company to address a department at Presbyterian and completely convert their performance management processes to the enterprise standard with absolutely no exceptions or resistance.
