The November/December issue of Weight Watchers magazine offers these tips from makeup artist Aura Schwartz on how to go from frazzled to fabulous in 5 minutes:
--Start by washing and moisturizing your face. Then use your pinky to dot concealer under each eye and on any red spots. Blend it thoroughly.
--For a bold eye, swap matte and neutral shades for shinier, more festive shadows. Apply from the lash line to the crease of your eyelid. Then apply liner to your top lash line.
--Hold a lash curler close to the lash line and clamp down for 3 seconds. Add a thick layer of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
--Simulate a natural glow with cream blush, which looks more natural than powder. To apply, smile, then use your index finder to tap blush onto the apples of cheeks. Use thumb to blend.
--Choose a red lipstick. To ensure it stays put, moisturize lips with a balm first. Then outline with a pencil in the same shade as the lipstick. Fill in with pencil and apply the lipstick. Top with clear gloss.
--To shine-proof your face for photos, dust a light layer of loose powder on your T-zone.
