Mr McAdam and Mr Roche will be in charge of two new groups, reporting to Jerry Fishman, president and CEO of the company.
Mr McAdam will lead the core products and technologies group, which focuses on converters and amplifiers, and portfolio of radio frequency, power, micro-electromechanical systems, and digital signal processing products.
Mr Roche will lead the new strategic market segments group, which focuses on integrating ADI technology into optimized solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, consumer, and communications infrastructure customers. He will also be responsible for the worldwide sales organization.
Functioning alongside ADI's existing worldwide manufacturing and corporate operations groups, the two new groups are designed to bring to bear the full breadth of ADI's products, technology, technical support, and supply chain expertise to address customer needs more responsively, the company said.
Mr Fishman said: "We are very fortunate to have two experienced and universally respected leaders in Robbie and Vincent, who know our business so well, have been important drivers of our success for many years, and are ready to take on these significantly expanded roles.
"Leveraging their knowledge and acumen, we are putting in place a new organizational structure that aligns with what is most relevant to ADI's strategic priorities today and in the foreseeable future, technology to enable continuous product innovation that defines ADI and applications insight to enable system-level innovation for customers."
