The Knights would get an early lead and never trail in winning the Yadkin Valley Conference championship 2-1 over the Eagles.
Senior goalkeeper Hunter Harvey made six crucial saves, allowing just one goal in the win for Gray Stone (15-2).
One save in particular was huge when Harvey used a diving stretch to pin the ball on the goal line early in the match, preventing East from going up early.
Senior Mike Wall scored on an assists from Jacob Earnhardt in the 30th minute for a 1-0 Knights lead. Hans Honer gave Gray Stone a cushion two minutes before halftime with a goal, assisted by junior Andrew Parks.
Luis Ascencio scored in the 50th minute, assisted by Marco Salazar, to cut the lead to a goal.
