The company has been sophisticated in the development of the IPv6 Internet technology, just waiting for the IPv6 Web's widespread application, Mr. Yu said, adding that his company's routers can co-work with the next-generation Web via cost-free software upgrade.
Li Xing, a professor with Tsinghua University, disclosed that Chinese telecoms operators had made their layouts about the IPv6 Internet technology's marketization and were expected to release the plans in the near future. He estimated that the 4.3 billion addresses of the world's existing IPv4 Internet would run out in 2011.
In addition, Mr. Yu believed that Juniper Networks' cooperation with Dell Inc. (NASDAQ: DELL) would not weaken its partnership with IBM (NYSE: IBM), which has greed to offer Juniper Networks' SRX gateways to customers.
