Ford County
Running for sheriff are Robert J. Yates, Christopher White and incumbent Mark Doran. Incumbents Linda Kellerhals and Nancy Krumwiede filed, respectively, for county clerk and county treasurer.
Running for County Board are: Marc Amore, Richard E. Hewerdine and incumbent Gene May, District 1; incumbent Floyd M. Otto Jr. and Tim Nuss, District 2; incumbent Randy P. Berger, Rick Bowen and Ruth I. McClure, District 3.
LaSalle County
OTTAWA -- All countywide incumbent officeholders in LaSalle County have filed for re-election in the primary, and only the race for sheriff will have a contest in the general election.
For sheriff, Republican incumbent Tom Templeton and Democratic challenger Rodney Hampton face no primary opponents. Also unopposed are the following incumbents: Republican Treasurer Don Lamps and Regional Superintendent of Schools Jim Carlson and County Clerk Jo Ann Carretto, both Democrats.
Streator area incumbent county board members running unopposed are Republican Jerry Myers and Democrat Ron Dittmer.
Livingston County
County Clerk and Recorder Kristy Masching and Treasurer Barb Sear filed for re-election while challengers Ken White and Marty Meredith filed to seek the sheriff's job from which Robert McCarty is retiring.
Running for County Board are: incumbents Mike Ingles, Bruce Koerner and Jack Vietti and challenger John McGlasson, District 1; incumbents Bill Flott, Daryl Holt and Robert Weller and challenger Joe Steichen, District 2; and incumbents Carl Borngasser, Ron Deany and Stan Weber and challengers John Yoder and William Peterson, District 3.
Woodford County
Incumbents running again are Clerk/Recorder Debbie Harms, Sheriff James Pierceall and Treasurer Melissa Andrews.
Running for County Board are: incumbents Thomas Evans and Kenneth Uphoff and challengers Chris Miller of rural Carlock and Duane Kingen, District 1; incumbents Marcus Adams and Pete Lambie and challengers Russell Cotton, Don Cremeens Dennis Tipsword (the sole Democrat on the ballot), District 2; and incumbents Larry Whitaker and Stanley Glazier and challengers Shannon Rocke, Gary Lambert and Jerry Waldschmidt, District 3.
