The contract begins in November 2009, has an initial term of two years and includes three one-year mutual contract extension options. Revenue to Scientific Games is based on a price per thousand.
In fiscal year 2009, the Wisconsin Lottery generated $473 million in retail sales, of which $277 million, or 58%, was derived from instant ticket sales, according to Scientific Games.
New York-based Scientific Games is a supplier of instant tickets, systems and services to lotteries worldwide, a supplier of server based gaming machines and systems, amusement and skill with prize betting terminals, interactive sports betting terminals and systems, and wagering systems and services to pari-mutuel operators.
