The oilfield, whose 11 wells have started production, is situated in the east areas of the Bohai Sea, with an oil production capacity of 11,000 barrels daily. It is close to the Lvda 32-2 oilfield, which is under construction now.
Notably, the company kicked off a joint exploitation project about the aforesaid two oilfields, in order to reduce exploitation cost. The exploitation and production equipment of the two oilfields are composed of two wellhead platforms, one oil production and reserve platform, and 34 production wells.
Besides, the Lvda 32-2 oilfield is predicted to begin production later, and the maximum output of the two oilfields is expected to hit 13,000 barrels per day. CNOOC has 100% equities in the two oilfields.
