Brian Ruane to head BNY Mellon's hedge fund ops

said on Monday it has appointed Brian Ruane CEO of its Alternative
Investment Services, a hedge fund administrator managing more than
USD200bn (EUR136bn) in assets.

Ruane will report to Art Certosimo, senior executive vice president and
head of Broker-Dealer/Alternative Investment Services at BNY Mellon.

Ruane, who has occupied senior management positions at BNY Mellon since
1993, will focus on growing Alternative Investment Services' customer
base, products and services on a global scale.
