--High-speed Internet just became even faster with Charter Communications' introduction of 60 mbps Internet service, the company announced Tuesday.
This ultra-fast service has been added to Charter's existing high-speed Internet services, which is faster and more reliable, according to Charte's Fred Lutz, Southern California vice president and general manager.
Charter currently serves the Victorville area with Internet speeds up to 20 mbps, but is now taking a major step up in speed with its new Charter High-Speed Internet Ultra60 service, which began Oct. 27.
High-Speed Internet Ultra60 enables customers to download a 4 gigabyte movie approximately 40 times faster than 1.5 mbps DSL service.
