There is only one new event, the Greenbrier Classic at the storied West Virginia resort July 29-Aug. 1.
In addition, the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course replaces Poppy Hills among the three-course rotation for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Feb. 11-14, the Valero Texas Open will move to the TPC San Antonio on May 13-16, and the AT&T National goes to the Aronimink Golf Club near Philadelphia on July 1-4.
The Players Championship remains in its May slot, ensuring that the final round will be on Mother's Day, May 9, at the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course.
The Tour begins Jan. 7-10 with the SBS Championship in Kapalua, Hawaii, for the winners of 2009 tournaments. The Florida Swing starts with the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens on March 4-7, followed in succession by the CA Championship at the newly branded TPC Blue Monster at Doral, the Transitions Championship at the Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor and the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando.
The final event for which players can qualify for the PGA Tour Playoffs will be Aug. 19-22 at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
The Tour was able to fully schedule the 2010 season without a net loss of events.
Philo school moves
Ron Philo Sr., the father of a two-time LPGA Tour winner and one of the top players among club professionals in the U.S., moved his Philo School of Golf to the Ponte Vedra Golf and Country Club, with a grand opening scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The public is invited.
Laura Diaz, Philo's daughter and an 11-year veteran of the LPGA, will appear at the opening, along with her brother, Ron Philo Jr., a past winner of the PGA National Club Professional Championship and a seven-time qualifier for the PGA Championship.
Ron Philo Sr. played on the Florida State golf team with World Golf Hall of Fame member Hubert Green and Champions Tour winner Bob Duval.

Stuart Appleby of Australia did not qualify for the field in this week's World Golf Championship HSBC Champions, which means his streak of playing in WGC events ends at 32 in a row. Appleby competed in every WGC event since the series was launched in 1999. However, he never won one. ... The earnings from the HSBC and the victory will not count toward official PGA Tour totals. ... This will be the first Asian golf tournament in which Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are both in the field.
